Even I Get Sick of It All Sometimes

Team, I'm takin' a break this week to nurse a cold. And I'm missing a lot of the absurdity that drives me, but it's time to heal up.

Okay team...

I finally got caught. Much as I keep my guard up, somehow I've been punched in the jaw by one heck of a cold bug, and it's got me down for the count, man. Stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, queezy stomach, the works. I feel as anemic as the stock market over the past few days.

And it's too bad because there are a lot of things I want to comment about that are driving me nuts. Yeah, Trump's stupid tariffs, plus issues about Black men and college, green card holders being abducted by American gestapo, and why the NBA playoffs are going to make me bang my head against the wall this year.

But for now, I need to do the best thing I can for myself: rest. I've learned the hard way that the worst thing you can do when you're sick is push yourself. So this week guys, I'm gonna chill.

If there's any advice I can give, just wash your hands whenever you can, eat foods that promote gut health, and if you ride the New York City subway, wear a freakin' mask! People are gross.

Back soon with more StarkRavingMadison. Thanks for hangin' with me.
